Who we are

Liverpool Mutual Homes is one of the most exciting and challenging stock transfers in the UK. We have over 15,000 properties and around 300 staff. Our Executive Management team is in place and we are looking for outstanding team members to join this tenant-led organisation. In return we offer competitive remuneration and city centre offices in the European Capital of Culture.

In March 2007, Liverpool City Council tenants overwhelmingly voted to transfer their homes to LMH, triggering twelve months of hard work which have made LMH a reality.

LMH is different from many other housing associations because it is tenant-led. There are eight tenants on the fifteen strong Management Board, with tenants at the heart of the organisation and involved in decision making at every level.

From 1st April 2008 LMH will provide services directly and through three established and experienced housing management contractors (Liverpool Housing Trust, Plus Housing Group and Pinnacle PSG).

In its first five years LMH will spend around £300 million investing in its homes. This requires not only an innovative procurement strategy to ensure real value for money and high quality but offers a massive opportunity to create real employment, training and regeneration
spin-offs.

The LMH Executive Team is in place. Team members are:

Steve Coffey, Chief Executive
Steve has over 20 years' experience in the social housing field and joins LMH from the Knowsley Housing Trust Group where he was Director of Regeneration.

Peter Fieldsend, Director of Corporate Services
Peter is an experienced and qualified Accountant and a former Board member of Liverpool Housing Trust and full priority one panel member for the Merseyside Objective One Program.

Angela Forshaw, Director of Housing & Neighbourhood Services
Angela joins LMH from her Liverpool City Council role as Divisional Manager for Neighbourhood Management Services, having worked on the preparation for stock transfer to LMH.

Steve Collins, Director of Regeneration & Technical Services
Steve has worked at Director level in a Liverpool stock transfer association, he joins LMH from his role as a Consultant to LMH in its preparation for transfer.
